Harmony
A combination of parts comprising a pleasing or orderly whole; congruity; a state of agreement of proportionate arrangement of form, line, color, and texture. (BLM, USFS)
High scenic integrity level
A scenic integrity level indicating that human activities are not visually evident. In high scenic integrity areas, activities may only repeat attributes of form, line, color, and texture found in the existing landscape character. (USFS)
Horizon line
The apparent line in the landscape formed by the meeting of the visible land or water surface and the sky. (NPS)
Horizontal field of view
The horizontal extent of the observable landscape that is seen at any given moment, usually measured in degrees. (BLM, NPS)
